WEDDING

Emily and Jeremy realized pretty early on, that they would one day get married. The "when" was always up in the air, even though they both decided that there was no reason to rush. Little did Emily know, Jeremy was up to something....

 

After enjoying a lovely vacation in the Outer Banks with Jeremy's family, Emily and Jeremy returned to Jeremy's home in PA. Jeremy suggested that they go out for a nice dinner at a place in New Hope, PA where Jeremy had asked Emily to be his girlfriend. When they arrived at the restaurant, they were surprised at how much had changed. It was now a 5 course restaurant! Emily suggested they go somewhere else, but Jeremy insisted that they stay for dinner! After a luxurious dinner, which included free champagne, Emily felt that Jeremy was up to something (even though the 5 course meal and free champagne was a complete coincidence). 

 

After dinner, Jeremy told Emily he wanted to walk around New Hope. The two walked through the adorable streets, window shopped, then crossed the river into Hopewell, NJ. Yes! They got engaged in NJ! The only sad part of this story ;) Jeremy and Emily walked hand in hand, passed by a spot where they had previously seen a wedding going on (which Jeremy adamantly pointed out). The two sat down on two rocks, right on the river's edge as the perfect sunset presented itself over the river. Jeremy, the fitness professional, did not "get down on one knee" but instead "reverse lunged" into the proposal stance and popped the question! Emily was floored! She couldn't believe it, and after finally being done saying "oh my god" and "holy shit that's a ring" she said YES!!!!

 

Later on, when Emily asked Jeremy, "what happened to waiting?" He responded simply, "I just couldn't wait...."
